The fun and fellowship don't end with worship on Sundays.  Pleasantville is a close-knit group with ample opportunities for folks of all ages to socialize and share.

Fellowship Opportunities

The purpose of the Pleasantville Adult Day Fellowship is to provide an opportunity to gather as a Christian community each month. Persons 55 and older are invited the second Tuesday of every month to do some learning, to help others through mission projects, and to participate in fun and fellowship while lunch is served.

Each year in late winter, "teams" gather to try to defeat team AARP in a just for fun bowling event.  Includes lunch and laughter in rented shoes.

Held early Summer on the first day of our Summer Worship schedule.  This pot-luck picnic is our marquis fellowship event. Members and Visitors gather on our lawn for food, fellowship, and merry.

Join us for occasional family-friendly films for all ages.  Plenty of popcorn and frivolity!

A group of faithful fellows gather weekly for bible study and fellowship.  Indeed these fellows set a shining example for men and boys everywhere in their dutiful pursuit of deeper faith while having fun.

Annual trip to an area Minor League baseball game. We are blessed with a number of local teams, from which to choose.  Baseball, fellowship, hot dogs, and good times for young and old.

The Prayer Fellowship meets weekly, during the day to pray for and on behalf of our Members, visitors, and community.  All requests for prayer are confidential remain within this small group.  Additionally, the Telephone Prayer Chain consists of Pleasantville members and is activated when a member requests immediate prayers.

Open to men and women, the Pleasantville Softball Team competes with area churches on a weekly basis from May through June, with playoffs held in July.  Practices begin in April.  Fans are always welcome to show up and cheer for our team.

The Supper Club gatherings are a chance to share good food and conversation and to meet other members of Pleasantville Church.  You may sign up by yourself, or with a "cooking/dining partner" (spouse or friend). New faces are always welcome at the Supper Club! Let us know also if you space to host gatherings of 10 - 14 people.

Each Spring the women of Pleasantville gather at Mensch Mill Conference and Retreat Center for a girls weekend of relaxation, fellowship, and prayerful meditation.
