This summer, Pastor Amelie will offer a book study on the wonderful book Widening the Welcome of Your Church by Fred Bernhard and Steve Clapp. This book teaches about Christian Hospitality and Welcome for churches. The book is perhaps the best evangelism guide for mainline churches, and many UCC churches have successfully implemented techniques learned from this book to help their congregation members increase their welcome to new visitors and members. We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. starting on July 21. The class will last 6 weeks. Each of the book’s chapters are relatively self-contained, and you don’t have to be present at each class in order to grow and learn from this book discussion. Please sign up in the office.
