An acolyte training class will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 7 p.m. for all 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, and 6^th graders who wish to be acolytes. There will be no meal so children should have eaten before they arrive at church. Acolyting is a chance for our children to experience serving our church through worship. Along the way, our children learn to respect and value the sacredness of worship. This is an opportunity to serve the church and for pre-teens to get to know each other. Registration forms will be mailed in mid-July to all children in 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, and 6^th grade. If you don’t get one and your child would like to acolyte please call or email the church office. All children who have not been Acolytes before must attend this training class. One parent must attend the class with their child.
