An Inter-generational Mission Trip is planned for the weekend of October16-18 at Lebanon, PA. The Justice and Witness Committee has found a mission called Harvest of Hope. Gleaning America’s Fields – Feeding America’s Hungry. It involves traveling to Lebanon, PA where we will glean farmers’ fields of fallen or unpicked apples. These will be taken to Food Cupboards to be distributed to the hungry. The experience will include meals and lodging at Camp Seltzer in nearby Palmyra. Also hunger education and worship are offered. Families (10 years old and up) as well as adults are welcome. The cost is $75 per person for the week-end. You may sign up at the office counter.
