ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS MARKET - HELPING OTHERS TO HAVE A MORE BLESSED CHRISTMAS ! Our Alternative Market will be held on Sunday, December 13 in Lentz Fellowship Hall after services. Buying from this "market" will help local organizations such as A Woman’s Place (for abused families) and Habitat for Humanity. People around the world will be helped through Heifer Project International which distributes livestock to families who need food as well as an income, and A Greater Gift which supplies markets for third world artisans, beautiful gifts that keep on giving, and Global Ministries which includes child sponsorship. The proceeds from the Craft Table will go to various current needs. This way of "shopping" provides an Alternative to the pressure upon us to spend our money in ways that disconnect us from the real reason for the season: the coming of Christ into our lives.
