The Afterglow and Club345 youth groups are sponsoring a Self-defense clinic to support Manna on Main Street. The date for this event is Wed, Apr 28, 7pm in Lentz Hall. Harry Pfister, 5th Dan, will provide valuable insight into personal self-defense and bullying, as well as useful techniques to avoid and overcome dangerous situations and encounters. Master Pfister has over 20 years of self-defense training experience and has dedicated his life to his art. This clinic is open to all members and guests, aged 9 yrs thru senior, and requires no special skills or prior training. A donation in support of Manna on Main Street is requested. Born under the leadership of Reverend John Touchberry of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Manna on Main Street serves our local area with a Soup Kitchen, Food Cupboard, Emergency Aid, and Youth Programs. If you are interested, please register on the sign-up in Lentz Hall.
