"Soul Food"- Readings that Feed the Spirit

Drawing from passages of Scripture, poetry, and short stories
we will explore texts that open our awareness to the presence of God,
touch our brokenness, and nurture our faith.
The Rev. Daniel Moser and Rev. Dr. Hilary Barrett are friends and colleagues equally committed to the recovery of Sabbath in our personal and spiritual lives. Daniel holds graduate degrees from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago and Princeton Theological Seminary. He has pastored family, pastoral, and program size churches in Pennsylvania for over thirty years. He is currently serving as Transitional Minister at Olivet Schwenkfelder United Church of Christ in Norristown, PA.
Join us for 24 hours of rest and play, restoration and re-creation. Be with those you know well and those you are still meeting anew. The company will be good, the food will be prepared by somebody else, we don’t have to do the dishes, and once again Terry Goetter will join us for those who want therapeutic massage. What more do we need?
Cost: $85 per person, double occupancy (includes all meals and bed linens).
