The Cancer Support Group will begin its regular meetings at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27 in Room 18. The group meets the fourth Sunday of every month and welcomes all those who are cancer survivors, those currently having treatments, or caretakers of cancer patients. All discussion is confidential to the group. Occasionally they have a program on a specific topic such as side effects of medication or the availability of new treatments. Rev. Dr. Paul Ritter will be the facilitator of the group.
On Sunday, October 25, the group will present Jeannine McKeogh of Carol for Heart. She will be sharing her family’s experience with ravages of heart disease and giving us information on how we can help eradicate heart disease, particularly in women. The presentation will be in Lentz Hall following coffee hour on October 25. We invite everyone in the congregation for this very important occasion.
There is no sign up for this presentation or the monthly meetings. Just join them if you are able.
