(7/21) The Pleasantville softball team was swept by Rolling Hills UMC by scores of 10-2 and 13-4 on Monday and Tuesday, July 19 and 20.  Congratulations to Rolling Hills who finished in first with a 15 – 4 record.   Pleasantville finished in second with a 13 – 6 record.  It was the best year for the team in the past decade and next year should be an excellent year.  Great job Pleasantville softball team!

We will meet at the park after worship. Pack your lunch or bring items to grill. Share Our Surplus

A reminder about Share Our Surplus. Each summer we ask those who garden to think about Pleasantville and the charities we support when they are planning their plantings. Throughout the summer, as the crops become ripe, we ask that you bring in your surplus. There is a table in Lentz Hall where these items are placed. Flowers are also a welcome addition to the table. All money donated in exchange for items taken goes to local hunger projects.

Doylestown Area FISH....

Our July Mission Moment and envelope is dedicated to Doylestown Area FISH, a Christian organization whose purpose is to provide emergency help for persons in need of shelter, food and/or transportation. FISH is sponsored by local churches, church groups, individuals, and 20% of the Doylestown CROP Walk proceeds and is run entirely by volunteers. FISH serves many who have no church affiliation to turn for help.

Editor’s Note: The church office receives many phone calls from those needing help. Many of these people are referred to FISH, so please be as generous as you can.
